This was a very exciting and challenging project, with all the elements of great design (provided by Fleur de Lis); a great client, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment; and a great venue, the Air Canada Centre. The project was challenging as it had a very tight schedule and budget, further complicated by an element of ‘design-as-you-go’.
The end result is spectacular! This complete retrofit of the 8,000 sq. ft. restaurant was transformed into a showpiece, highlighting, marble floors, onyx-clad columns and bar counters; custom chandeliers and lighting, mahogany and ebony millwork throughout, with mother-of-pearl wall applications.
Special features included a custom Wine Room, surrounded by floor to ceiling glass, exposing over 3,800 bottles of wine; an exclusive private champagne room, with full height sliding glass doors, seating up to 8 people around an exotic veneered table. The two custom-designed bars, with white onyx counter-tops, are illuminated by an interior lighting system, exposing the beauty of the marble.
This project was all about coordination and dedication. Our site crew went above and beyond, to ensure this was a successful on-time and on-budget project.
